A foreign-based sweater manufacturer based in Gazipur and 100% exporter of leading brands are requiring a Highly Qualified General Manager or Assistant General Manager

Position : General Manager/ Assistant General Manager (GM/AGM)

Jobs Responsibility/Description
  • Responsible for factory operation and operational management.
  • Provide full spectrum of administrative functions including responsible for 100% capacity utilization and waste reduction
  • Responsible for daily production and work to achieve daily production targets with buyer required quality standard
  • Manage all tasks for smooth production, smooth final inspection pass, and on time shipment
  • Coordinate all department for a smooth manufacturing Process and achieve maximum production by the lowest cost
  • To lead, supervise, review, recommend and implement policies & operational procedures to meet with the Company's development needs and to ensure compliance of corporate policies.
  • Take all kinds of decisions regarding salary and recruitment
  • Should be well conversant in Bangladesh labor law and maintain Protocol and Public Relationship.
  • Maintain liaison with local law enforcing agencies, administration, and local authority.
  • Handle ad hoc projects as assigned by management.
Educaional Qualification
  • Bachelor degree in any discipline or with extensive experience on sweater production would be highly justified
  • Skills Required: Administration, Business/ Product Development, Good communication skills, Good leadership, Organization Development/ Process Improvement, Project Management, Self-confident

  • At least 10 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Administration, Business Development, Factory Administration, GARMENT COSTING, Garments Industry, Garments Manufacturing, Project Management, supply chain management, Sweater production, Tshirt Production
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Multinational Companies, Overseas Companies, Sweater Industry, Trading or Export/Import, Textile, Group of Companies
Additional Requirements
  • Age at least 55 years
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply.
  • Excellent command in both spoken and written English and Chinese including Mandarin
  • Experienced in high volume Knits/ Sweater production.
  • Excellent interpersonal and project management skills.
